Moong Ki Dal Ka Halwa
Ingredients
- 100g Moong Dal White
- 85g Sugar
- 85g Ghee
- 15g peeled Almonds
- 15g Sultanas
- 2 small Cardomons
- 225ml Water
Method
- Soak dal in plenty of water, for about ½ an hour.
- Drain all the water and grind in the liquidiser.
- Add ghee and ground dal in a frying pan then fry on a medium heat until light brown in colour (if fried well it does not stick to the pan).
- Add water and sugar.
- Stir well until all the water is absorbed.
- Garnish with almonds, sultanas and cardomon seeds.
- Serve warm as a dessert.
