Moong Ki Dal Ka Halwa

Method

  1. Soak dal in plenty of water, for about ½ an hour.
  2. Drain all the water and grind in the liquidiser.
  3. Add ghee and ground dal in a frying pan then fry on a medium heat until light brown in colour (if fried well it does not stick to the pan).
  4. Add water and sugar.
  5. Stir well until all the water is absorbed.
  6. Garnish with almonds, sultanas and cardomon seeds.
  7. Serve warm as a dessert.
